Required Documents for Recruitment 

The documents required for recruitment may vary by country, but all must comply with the formalities set by the Government of Bangladesh.

General Documents

  1. Demand Letter – Addressed to Semiko Recruitment Services, specifying:

    • Number of workers required per category

    • Monthly salaries

    • Contract period

    • Duty hours

    • Food, accommodation, medical facilities, and insurance

    • Air passage and other benefits

  2. Power of Attorney – Authorizing Semiko Recruitment Services to manage recruitment of Bangladeshi manpower, including:

    • Arranging interviews and trade tests

    • Signing employment contracts

    • Processing passports and visa endorsements

    • Coordinating worker travel to the country of employment

  3. Letter of Authority – Addressed to the relevant consulate/embassy, confirming Semiko Recruitment Services as the appointed manpower recruiting agent authorized to handle all visa submissions and related matters. Include visa numbers and issue dates.

  4. Inter-Party Agreement – Between the employer and Semiko Recruitment Services.

  5. Employment Agreement – Executed between the employer and Semiko Recruitment Services, clearly stating the terms and conditions of manpower recruitment. Must be signed by both parties.

  6. Guarantee Letter – From the employer, confirming that the worker will only work in the employing country. Must be attested by the Bangladesh embassy.

(All documents must be signed and stamped on the company letterhead.)

Serving Countries & Document Requirements

Fiji, Singapore, China, Qatar, Malaysia, Dubai, Vietnam, Russia, Moldova, Romania, Armenia, Bosnia

  • Mandatory Documents:

    1. Demand Letter (certified if required)

    2. Power of Attorney in favor of Semiko Recruitment Services

    3. Employment Agreement

    4. Guarantee Letter

    5. Any additional consulate-specific documents, if applicable

Process

Upon receiving the original documents, Semiko Recruitment Services submits them to the Bangladesh Ministry of Labor (BMET) for government approval. Employers may contact BMET directly for document authentication. Cooperation during this verification process is appreciated.
